Eight years ago their combined age was 66. Now their combined age is 66 + 3*8 = 66 + 24 = 90
Their current age is 4*x, 5*x and 6*x, which combines to 90.
Thus, (4+5+6)*x = 90 -> 15*x = 90 -> x = 6
The current ages are: 4*6 = 24; 5*6 = 30 and 6*6 = 36
A + C = 24 + 36 = 60.
