maxCID = Maximum Context Identifier.

This is the maximum CID value that can be used. One CID value shall always be reserved for uncompressed flows. The parameter MAX_CID is configured by upper layers.

It is a parameter used for the compression and decompression of the PDCP header.
maxCID is defined in Section 5.5.3

Context Identifier: Associated with each compressed flow is a context. The context is the state that the compressor and the decompressor maintain in order to correctly compress or decompress the headers of the packet in the flow. Each context is identified using a CID.
CID is defined in section 5.1.1

During X2-handover, In PDCP how to forward prepared packets which are not yet got ACK from UE and packets getting from SGW ?

Because why I getting this doubt is, Packets which are not got ACK all are prepared one means assigned PDCP SN but packets getting from SGW are SDU's means not assigned PDCP SN for those (we sent SN status info to Target eNB when handover triggered).how to differentiate these packets at target eNB which one is PDU and which one is SDU.
