Does ECGI is reported in measurement report only when ENB gives the PCI for which ECGI to be reported?

I have gone through the measurement config/ report messages.I found that in meas report UE can send PCI, RSRP, RSRQ, CGI report at a time.

Will UE will send CGI report also at the same time or UE will send only when ENB request UE for the ECGI with the Report ECGI by giving pci ?

To read the CGI of an enb takes time as ue has to wait for sib1 and to read cgi also ue has to go to idle mode whose timing is configured by drx-config.

So UE read ecgi of a particular cell when source enb request for it.

How Drx configuration is usefull for UE to perform ECGI measurement ?

According to 3Gpp spec 36.331 for EUTRA , in RRC measurement configuration if purpose set to REPORTCGI, then T321 timer will be set to 1 sec.

If this is the case then where UE will use this Drx configuration? Please can any one explain me this...

LTE : how to configure DRX to get ECGI report ?

I have two cells having same operating frequency with different PCI's. After applying measurement config I got neighbor cell measurement report and then I am triggering for ECGI request but I am not getting ECGI report.

So I am guessing there is problem in configuration of DRX which is used to give proper idle period to UE.

Please help if any one have experience on this.

What is the difference between A3 and A6 Event in measurement report config ?

A3 :- Neighbour becomes offset better than PCell
A6 :- Neighbour becomes offset better than SCell

Please Clarify the difference

Does UE sends measurement reports periodically or only event occurs?

If ENB configures some measurement event say A1,A2,A3 etc, take e.g A2 event threshhold as -100Dbm, and serving cell thrs crosses -100 then UE will send A2, after this event UE is still facing signal strength as -100dB over a long period, will UE sends second time A2 event or only once?
