Hi Charan,

UE selects preamble based on its MSG3 buffer size. So when ENB receives the preamble It knows the UE's buffer size. Based on this it provides UL grant in RAR.

If no SR is configured at UE side, then IF UE triggeres RACH then what will be the MSG3 content? How ENB knows UE is triggering an RACH for UL grant?

How ENB decides size of GroupA , GroupB and contention free preambles. based on what basis ENB decides this information?

Suppose UE intitiates an Rach for TA failure or No SR resource, UE sends an MAC CRNTI CE in msg3 and expects old RNTI allocation for Contention resolution success. But what if eNB gives SPS RNTI Ul allocation after MSG3 , will UE resolves the contention resolution after this?
