The first car sets off two minutes before the second car.

If the first car travels at 40km/h and the second car travels at 90km/h,

how many kilometres from the starting point will they draw level?

In the first two minutes car A has travelled 40 * 2/60 = 4/3 km.
Car B travels 50 km/h faster, so it will take him 4/3 / (50/60) = 1.6 minutes to catch up to car A.
In that time car B travels 1.6 * (90/60) = 2.4 km.
