MSIN stands for "Mobile Subscription Identity Number". It is sub portion of IMSI. when MCC and MNC removed from IMSI then output known as "Mobile Subscription Identity Number".

IMSI = MCC + MNC + MSIN.

As IMSI = PLMN + MSIN
It is a 9/10 digit number.
Importance :- It uniquely identifies a mobile subscriber within a PLMN .

Assume I configured XYZ as APN but trying to attach to network. How APN validation work here. Is it bi-directional or uni-directional validation ? Please explain in detail.

Can a Default no-GBR bearer be converted to GBR dedicated bearer in LTE?

In LTE, when UE is first time attached to a network, it is usually allocated a default non-GBR bearer. Can this bearer be converted to a GBR bearer, without releasing the UE context at eNodeB?
