CT Timer is a Short DRX Cycle Timer which indicates the number of initial DRX cycles to follow the short DRX cycle before moving to the long DRX cycle. It is expressed in terms of short DRX cycle.

Short DRX cycle: It is the first DRX cycle to be followed after enabling DRX.

Both the timers t301 and t311 are related to RRC Connection ReEstablishment procedure, then what is the difference between them ?

Several messages are exchanged between UE and network nodes (eNodeB and MME) during attach procedure. I want to know in which all stages timers are used to guard various sub procedures of LTE attach procedure.
