Hi Poonam,

Scheduler implementation is totally operator specific, below are some common implementation .
Round Robin scheduler will give equal priority to all channels and schedule all channels in some interval, so all channel will get scheduled in this scheduler.

QOS scheduler is an quality based scheduler and it selects channels based on the QCI table. Refer following image -

QCI Table

Each channel will have its own QCI , based on which QIOS scheduler will schedule.
PF scheduler is an Proportionally fair scheduler and it shares resource based on the data availability in each channel. it considers CQI, data size ,last scheduled SF.

In specification, I found two categories of QoS rules i.e., Signaled and Derived QoS rules. At a high level what I know that signaled QoS rules are the rules which are generated at core network and sent to UE as part of PDU SESSION ESTABLISHMENT. But I want to know what is derived QoS and where it is generated and used ?

For practical network installations, an eNodeB would be connected to SGW via some IP router. Similarly there can be IP router connection between SGW and PGW.

How is End-to-End QoS maintained between these routers?

Because as I see in specs, the QCI value is transmitted in GTP-C signalling messages between S5/S8, S11 interface: based on that QCI & other QoS parameters, the bearers are defined & GTP-U tunnels are made.

But, for in-between routers, how is QoS guaranteed?
