50%
With 2 dices there are 6 * 6 = 36 combinations of which 1 combination leads to 12 and 6 combinations lead to 7.
Max X has a change of 1 in 36 that 12 will be rolled.
Max Y has a change of 6 / 36 * 6 /36 = 1 in 36 that 2 consecutive 7 will be throw.
As the change for both evens are identical, man X has 50% change of winning.

With Dhoni and Yuvraj at the crease Cricket Team of India needs to score 9 runs in last 2 balls to win the match. What is the probability that India wins the match?

Assumptions:
- There were no wide balls or no balls bowled in these 2 balls.
- No Wicket has fallen in these 2 balls
- No Overthrows or extra runs were scored in these 2 balls
- In case if run(s)are scored on any of these 2 balls it can only be one of these values: 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6. This also implies that it’s quite possible that zero runs are scored on a particular ball

James Bond is caught up in a mysterious scenario where the evil villain has him blindfolded. He somehow breaks through the handcuffs but is unable to get the blindfold off. Upon searching, he comes across a bow and 3 arrows. He can hear the villain speak, and thus tries to take a shot at him. He launches the first arrow, it misses the villain. He then launches the second arrow and it misses by a greater margin.

What is the probability that this third shot our James bond takes will be worse than the second shot?
