x + x^2 + x^3 + x^4 = 7380
Add x^5 on both the side
We get
x + x^2 + x^3 + x^4 + x^5 = 7380 + x^5
Now divide by x on both the side
(x + x^2 + x^3 + x^4 + x^5)/x = (7380 + x^5)/x
1 + x + x^2 + x^3 + x^4 = (7380 + x^5)/x
1+7380 =
7381
