The denominator of a rational number is greater than its numerator by 10.
If the numerator is increased by 5 and denominator is decreased by 1, then the number obtained is 3/4.
Find the original rational number.

a/b = a/(a+10)
(a+5)/(a+9) = 3/4
4a+20 = 3a+27
a = 7
Therefore a/b = a/(a+10) = 7/17.
