Each quarter shape will consist of curved shape (1/4 area of sphere- 4πr^2) and 2 flat shapes (each 1/2*πr^2), so total area = 1/4*4πr^2+ 2*1/2*πr^2= 2πr^2= 2*3.14*49^2 ≈ 15078 cm^2
