From the question, we know that there is only 1 lie that has to be repeated exactly 4 times.
The statement "It wasn't Chris" is repeated exactly 4 times among them.
This means "It wasn't Chris" is a lie and therefore It has to be Chris who committed the crime.

Suppose you are visiting an island with knights who always tell the truth, knaves who always lie, and jokers who can do either.

You meet three islanders named Ellis, Farin and Gobi. They make the following statements:

Ellis says, "Farin is a joker."
Farin says, "Gobi is a joker."
Gobi says, "Ellis is a joker."

If you know exactly one of them is a joker, how many of them are knights?

Sherlock: What’s your story, Ibrahim?
Ibrahim: I was walking around baker street and suddenly a man from the back shot me. I ran as fast as I could to save my life”.
Sherlock: That is enough (and ask the police to arrest him).
