Couple = C
Bag = B
Briefcase = BR

1st Equation:
CB + CB + CB = 30
3CB = 30
C + B = 10

2nd Equation
BR + BR + BR = 15
3BR = 15
BR = 5

3rd Equation:
2B + 2B = 24
4B = 24
B = 6

Final Equation
B + BR * C = ?
10 - B = C
10 - 6 = C
C = 4
5 + 6 * 4
5 + 24

? = 29

3 Couples + 3 Bag = 30
Couple + Bag = 10
3 Suitcase = 15
Suitcase = 5
4 Bags = 24
Bag = 6
Couple = 10 - 6 = 4

Final Equation: Bag + 2*Suitcase *Couple => 6 + 2*5*4 = 6 + 40 = 46.

My solution: Briefcase = 5 and backpack = 6. On the top row, subtract 6 points for each backpack, and the 3 couples plus the scarf = 12. Therefore the couple has to be either 1, 2, or 3.

Couple = 1, scarf = 9 - total = 12. Solution #1: 6 + (10 x 1) = 16
Couple = 2, scarf = 6 - total = 12. Solution #2: 6 + (10 x 2) = 26
Couple = 3, scarf = 3 - total = 12. Solution #3: 6 + (10 x 3) = 36
