Not sure that is correct.
.
If the statement was made on Saturday, then: If only yesterday (Friday) was tomorrow (Thursday), then today (Thursday) would have been a Saturday.
.
If the statement was made on Monday, then: If only yesterday (Sunday) was tomorrow (Saturday), then today (Saturday) would have been an Saturday.
