the solution is really simple
3*2-5=1
first fill the 5 litre jug with 3 litre jug once. then there will be two litres space in 5 litre jug.
fill 5 litre jug until full with 3 litre jug once.

that is good!
just remained only one litre in 3 litre jug.

There are two jugs each of 4 and 3 liters respectively, without any measuring marks. How many minimum steps are required to have 2 liters of water into the 4 litre jug (the jugs can be filled any number of times with water, and they can be emptied any number of times).
Note: Here we need 2 litre water in 4 litre jug (not in any of the two jugs).

This was the question of two buckets of 3 and 5 litres each. Now measure four litre. I had given 2 solutions but still he wanted 3 solution.
1st soln: fill 3 litre and then interchange in various ways to get 4 litre.
2nd soln: fill 5 litre and then interchange in various ways.
