Three brothers share a family sport: a non-stop marathon.

The oldest one is fat and short and trudges slowly on.

The middle brother’s tall, slim, and keeps a steady pace.

The youngest runs just like the wind, speeding through the race.

“He’s young in years, we let him run,” The other brothers say “Cause though he’s surely number one, he’s second, in some way.”

The three brothers are hands of clock,
eldest one will be hour hand
middle will be minute hand
and youngest will be seconds hand,
so in a way, youngest is second

Hard, Harder, and Hardest are brothers.
By age from youngest to oldest, it goes Hard, Harder, Hardest.
Hard is half the age of Hardest who is 20 which means hard is 10.
Harder has a two-year difference between the number of years older he is than Hard and the number of years younger he is than Hardest.
Harder is closer to the age of Hard than Hardest.
How old is Harder?

I'm something. I'm nothing.
I am short. I am tall.
When you fall at your sport, then I stumble and fall.
I have never been seen beneath a new moon.
I thrive in the evening but vanish at noon.
I am lighter than air, I weigh less than a breath;
darkness destroys me, and light is my death.
What am i?
