Area of the shaded region will be 2*(Area of the semicircle )-area of the rectangle
I.e., area of the circle - area of the rectangle
= 22*7*7/7 - 14*7
= 154- 98
= 56 square units.

No your answer is wrong as ....you can see that not whole are of the circle is shaded....there are some portions left
Yes this answer is wrong, seems to be very complex and mine is coming as approx 60 Sq Unit. Not sure if mine is correct.
