If you were offered a job for 30 days
starting at $0.01 the first day,
$0.02 the second day,
$0.04 the third day
and it doubled every day
like that for thirty days.

Would you take the Job and why?

Would depend on the job (there are things more important than money) but probably yes.
The total job would net you over 10.7 million dollars.

Day 1=0.01
Day 2=0.02
Day 3=0.04
This is geometric progression with r=2

So

Sn= G1(r^n-1)/r-1

Where G1= 0.01$ and r =2

S30 = 0.01 (2^30 -1)/2-1
= 0.01 (2^30 -1)
= 10737418.23

That means my monthly salary is $ 10737418.23

I will take the job.... provided that it is not illegal job
