Investment by Manoj is x and Y
P1 (profit)=(x/2)=1888...................................................(i)
=> x=3776
P2(loss)=(-y/4)................................................................(ii)
Total profit=P=(x+y)*23/100..........................................(iii)
P1+P2=P
1888-y/4=(x+y)*23/100...............................from (i),(ii),(iii)
1888-y/4=(3776+y)*23/100
=> y=2124
Total investment=x+y=3776+2124=5900
Ans is Total investment by Manoj is 5900 rupees
