This question cannot be answered unless the following data is provided:

- Acceleration of gravity at the particular point in space in which it was dropped and the mass of the egg in order to satisfy the

equation: F=MA - Deceleration of the egg into which the egg landed. If this force is equal to the acceleration of the egg then the egg will not

break and the tensile strength of the egg is not needed. If however the acceleration is greater than deceleration,

then the following must apply: - Tensile Strength of the egg shell in order to = or be > than the force imposed by the solid/semi-solid surface of the media

into which it landed.

Summary: it's simply a matter of adding up the forces acting on the egg/eggshell expressed in Newtons and then adding in the tensile strength of the egg/eggshell in Newtons. If all forces cancel out or the tensile strength of the egg/eggshell exceeds all other forces then the egg will not break.
