OATS is a species of cereal grain grown for its seed. While oats are suitable for human consumption as oatmeal and rolled oats, one of the most common uses is as livestock feed.
Oats are high in protein, calcium, fiber, and vitamin E, among many other nutritional needs, and are an excellent dietary supplement for this reason. Today, oats are eaten by all classes, commonly in the form of oatmeal and granola bars. Oats frequently appear as an accent in baking as well. Oats are also used in cosmetics and skin care, especially colloidal oat extract, which has many skin soothing effects. Oat extracts appear in facial cleansers, masques, and creams to help prevent skin damage, enhance general skin health, and soothe irritation and inflammation.
In Hindi its called Zai or जई in few languages (like scottish english) it is also called CORN.
