Maharashtra

Maharashtra government introduced 'Prohibition of Social boycott bill' 2016 in the ensuing budget session of state Legislature which began on March 9, 2016. The bill aims to root out evil, outdated and unconstitutional practices of Caste Panchayats, Gavki, Community Panchayats, etc.
