Bahrain is one of the smallest nation of Arabian Gulf and Arabian Gulf specially Persian gulf is rich with the animal that produces pearls. The pearl fisheries of the Persian Gulf is famous and very old (have been prosecuted for more than two thousand years). Bahrain being one of the main source of pearl fishing is known as Island of Pearls.
