Trendalyzer
The Trendalyzer software enabled display of information in animated bubble graphs, and was developed originally in Hans Rosling's Gapminder Foundation. Google used the technology to create Motion Charts, which allowed users to make charts from their data, and the public data search function. The team of developers for Gapminder joined Google in April 2007 (and left in 2010). Components of the Trendalyzer software, particularly the Flash-based Motion Chart gadget, have become available for public use as part of the Google Visualizations API. Google discontinued Trendalyzer as a separate tool in 2017. The other options are also software or methods designed to display results visually, but do not have the same link with Google's development of the search function.
