One of the longest African rivers is also recorded as the world's deepest. What is the measured depth in parts of the river?

Around 220 m (720 ft)
The deepest parts of the Congo are in the submarine canyon leading to the river's mouth. The Yangtze River in China is the second deepest river, at 200 m. The 178 m depth is in the Danube; the 116 m depth is in the Zambezi. The Amazon maximum depth is measured at 100 m (328 ft).
