Guaíra
The Guaíra Falls, on the Paraná River along the border between Brazil and Paraguay, were 18 cataracts clustered in seven groups with a total height of approximately 114 m (375 ft), the largest individual cataract being 40 m (130 ft) high. The Celilo Falls were also submerged by the building of a dam, The Dalles Dam in 1957. Dry Falls are in Washington, USA, and were dried by the rerouting of its river in prehistoric times. The Iguaçu Falls are still flowing.
