Fire
The fire is known as the Black Dragon Fire. It is believed to have been started by timber felling activities. It is estimated to have been the largest to strike anywhere in China in at least the last 300 years, and one of the largest anywhere in the world. [The fires in the Amazon forests in South America in 2019 (as estimated at the end of the year) devastated about 3,500 sq mi (9,060 sq km ).]
