Salivary gland is present in our mouth whereas Gastric gland is present in the inner lining of stomach. Salivary gland produces Saliva for breaking Starch into Sugar while Gastric Glands produce Pepsin for breaking of Proteins into Peptons and HCL for digestion of Protein, killing of microbes, etc.
