Shahrukh Khan is an Indian film actor, producer and television personality. Referred to in the media as the "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan"

Shahrukh Khan began his career with appearances in several television series in the late 1980s. He that he became a star on TV with hit series like Fauji and Circus.

When he was doing serials like Fauji and Circus in Delhi, he got calls from Hema Malini and Harry Baweja for movie role. SRK politely declined those offer as he was nit interested in doing movies.

Shah Rukh is named Rahul in nine of his movies, and He is called Raj in six of his movies.

He played negative roles in six films, namely Darr and Baazigar (1993), Anjaam (1994), Duplicate (1998), Don (2006) and Don 2 (2011).

Shahrukh Khan is co-chairman of the motion picture production company Red Chillies Entertainment.

Shahrukh Khan is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders, Trinbago Knight Riders team in Caribbean Premier League and in 2017 he has bought a franchisee representing Cape Town in South Africa’s T20 Global League.

Shahrukh Khan got married to Gauri Chibber, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on 25 October 1991. They have a son Aryan (born 1997), a daughter Suhana (born 2000) and a third child named AbRam(born 2013).

Shahrukh Khan's philanthropic endeavours have provided health care and disaster relief, and he was honoured with UNESCO's Pyramide con Marni award in 2011 for his support of children's education.
