How to paste text to MS Word when the user presses pre defined hot keys.

Hi there, I need to build an app wich can paste text to MS Word when the user presses pre defined hot keys. Where to start.
Extra info- I am using winows 8.1 64 bit pc.
I am using VB.net 2010
I have googled for this and heard about windows api. But i don't know how to work with windows api.

Hi Salil Agarwal, thank you, but this is not what i want. i have installed Phrase express in my pc. but it is not support my native language(Malayalam). So i started thinking how to make one.

I have a bunch of content (school text book type including images, equations, text, graphs etc ., that need to be made available for consumption on an Android App. Have tried doc parsing to JSON but it appears there are limitations of JSON (such as lack of adequate image support, support for special characters including math equations and so on.
