In lte, an UE can attach to network either combined or eps attach.
In case of combined attach, UE context is created at SGSN as well as MME.
Now if UE context is removed from either of one the nodes, Partial Purge UE procedure is being executed towards HSS.

PUR-flag within the Purge-UE-Request message carries the information that is related to Partial Purge of Ue.

As part of the purge ue procedure, HSS sends PUA-flags within the Purge UE Answer message to the MME or SGSN.
Can someone please explain the importance of bits present in the PUA-flags AVP with respect to the MME or SGSN.

I am looking for scenarios in which MME/SGSN purges an UE. And also what these nodes do as part of this procedure.
