How would you implement a "People You May Know" feature in our product?

Following popular algorithms -

  1. People from same school/college
  2. People from same organization
  3. People from address book (gmail/facebook/yahoo etc)
  4. Friend's friend.
  5. People who may be following you (depends on website to website)
  6. People from same location (rarely used)
  7. People who may have seen your profile

And you create a mix of above algorithms so that you suggest different people in different context to the same person.

I have learnt python and used it for various purposes for scietific computing using sage and GUI development using Tkinter and lots more.
