Does RTP traffic flows If we keep VOLTE call in Mute State?

I kept VOLTE call in mute state, But i can still see an RTP traffic with some payload. Why this traffic is flowing even after call is in MUTE?What is that content of that payload?

In IMS VoLTE setting of a telecom network, what part/field of which type of packet (SIP, SDP, others...) gives authentic information of MSISDN-IP mapping?
