Is TAC (tracking area code) required for Mme configuration?

Is TAC (tracking area code) required for Mme configuration? I do not see tac in few Mme configuration. But, I can see tac configured on ended side which goes in sib1. Could you please give input on this?

Hi,

TAC is not an optional parameter in SIB1, so as per my knowledge TAC is mandatory, if mme doesn't have TAC then ENB cannot transmit the TAC so it all MME should have TAC.
