In virtualization, infrastructure have set of virtual resources. These virtual resources can be allocated to a single department/project or multiple departments/projects. This department/project is tenant that can have subset of virtual resources from infrastructure.

Thanks Veer. Please confirm once if my understanding is correct. Virtual machines/Containers would be tenant and the services running in these containers/virtual machines would be considered as virtual tenant network, usually known as VTN.
