U have 9 qci, therefore 1 default bearer and remaining 8 will be dedicated bearer. With 9 different qci u can support 9 different applications having different Qos. If u open other exta applications, den it ll be mapped to particular existing bearer( having particular Qos) and the application ll b executed. Depending on which Qos the application needs it ll be mapped to particular bearer.

Thanks Sneha, providing your inputs on this query. Although I tested one UE attach with a default bearer and ran iperf applications for the data transmission by using the established default bearer. As per my understanding, one UE can have maximum of 8 bearers. QCI 5 is only used for IMS signalling not for the data. So in this way only 8 qci values are left to be used. That corresponds to 8 data radio bearer. Can you please provide any authentic reference to justify your answer ? Thanks in advance and appreciate your effort.
Hi,

Totally in IP network there can be max of 5 different service are possible. i.e  GBR ofvoice, live straming, buffered streaming ,real time gaming , Non GBR of TCP based services (emainl, chat, browsing). But ENB cant provide all the time GBR to UE, so the GBR service like live straming, buffered streaming they added as default bearers. Finally 5 different services and 3 supporting N-GBR services is defined in 3GPP.
As per the ETSI TS 124 007 V10.0.0 (2011-03) there are 11 bearers (5-15) supported per UE not 8 (min1/max3 default bearer with or without reaming bearers as dedicated bearers). And QCI is not to do any thing with the number of bearers but a bearer(s) can have one of the QCI value (1-9).
A L3 protocol may define that bits 5 to 8 of octet 1 of a standard L3 message of the protocol contain the EPS bearer identity.
The EPS bearer identity is used to identify a message flow.

As per 3gpp 36.322 Release 12.0 RLC specification, Extended RLC LI field = 15 bit is newly included in AM mode.
Can anyone please explain, exactly in what condition this 15-bit LI value will be used.

In case of UE specific data transmission MAC layer allocates radio resources on dynamic basis. When we say dynamic resource allocation it means in each TTI (subframe) different amount of data is sent over the over considering various factor QCI, amount of data buffered at RLC and available radio resource.
What about the MBMS data transmission. MBSFN subrames are fixed in radio frame for the MBMS data transmission. Is there really need of any dynamic resources allocation for the MBMS data comes from RLC layer or it is persistent since required modulation and coding other parameters are already known at the time of bearer establishment and these parameters does not change throughout the data transmission of MBMS data.
