India's number one Billiards Player - "Pankaj Advani"

Pankaj Advani is an Indian professional player of English billiards and former professional snooker player. In recognition of his achievements, the Government of India has bestowed several awards upon Advani—Arjuna Award in 2004, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2006, and Padma Shri in 2009.

Pankaj Advani was born in Pune. Moved to kuwait and then back to Bangalore . His Father Passed away when pankaj was six year Old . He has been guided to the game by his Elder brother.

In school days, He was too soft hearted about reporting the students to the principal when they break the rules such as not wearing tie and badges. Instead he used to give money to them to buy from school shop.

He got a distinction in both ICSE and ISC board Exams. while parallely attending the championships.

In his First Media Interaction , he has being asked about what he wanted to become and his reply was “Businessman”.

He won the first state title by beating none other than his brother who is also his mentor.

He achieved a hat-trick of hat-tricks in English billiards, holding the world,Asian,Indian National Championship simultaneously in three different year.

He is also world champion for 12 times and current no.1 in six red snooker and world Team billiards.

Pankaj is second cueist after Paul Mifsud to bag  both titles in pocket. (IBSF World Billiards and IBSF World Snooker.)Also, Second Indian cueist to win IBSF World Snooker after O.B. Agarwal and Second Indian cueist to have World Professional Billiards title after Geet Seth
