My namesake's the fiery one
Earth's light source since it had begun

And I am the Earth's satellite
I'm much more visible at night

I'm the red planet, very cold
Supporting life in days of old?

My namesake comes from Mercury
Our midway point is reached with me

A massive gas giant am I
My moons did Galileo spy

Venus stands for love and beauty
With her approach you'll soon be free!

Anticipation our last brings
Beautifully adorned with his rings

What are we?

My content is spun and spun
Its purpose not yet begun

First I must give it a ride
Then it's time to let it slide

The wet slop that I will spew
Will help buildings rise anew

What am I?

We capture light, and yet we don't.
We reflect rays of sun, and yet we don't.
Without us all the world is gray and dull for everyone.

You hear my sound; But that's not me
In fact, we look quite differently
I can have one; It always has two; I can have three
It can be anywhere, but I like sitting in a tree
It comes in many different forms
But I usually come in one
I have an assortment of colours
But eat me & I'm done
It can represent a bond
I can be used to jam
Can you figure out
What it is & what I am?

If we tie a light oxygen tank to a bird so that it can breathe on the moon, would the bird fly faster, slower, or the same speed as it does on earth? (Remember that there is less gravity on the moon.)
