Created I was, in 1841,
By someone with the name of an evil one,
He was a Belgian, living in Paris,
This man had to be very zealous.

Fourteen of me, this young man made,
Some above A, but not quite B,
With some higher than D, but lower than E,
And some that are C, and three halves above D,
That's why my popularity's so easy to see.

Golden with lacquer, I usually am,
I sometimes am used to honor Uncle Sam,

Patented I was in 1846,
I'm the one who gives some their kicks,
I'm shaped like a J - with a hook on the end,
So, can you tell what I am?

A Saxophone.

Created I was, in 1841,
By someone with the name of an evil one,
He was a Belgian, living in Paris,
This man had to be very zealous.

Adolphe Sax invented the saxophone in 1841. Adolphe Sax's name has a resemblance to Adolf Hitler, an evil one indeed...

Fourteen of me, this young man made,
Some above A, but not quite B,
With some higher than D, but lower than E,
And some that are C, and three halves above D,
That's why my popularity's so easy to see.

Sax made 14 different types of saxes. Seven pitched in C and F (F is three half-steps above D, hence three halves above D), and seven pitched in Eb (That's E Flat for you non-musicians, which is above D and lower than E) and Bb (above A and not quite B).

Golden with lacquer, I usually am,
I sometimes am used to honor Uncle Sam.

Saxes are usually golden, and the covering is referred to a lacquer. Saxes are also used in Military bands, thus "honoring Uncle Sam"

Patented I was in 1846,
I'm the one who gives some their kicks,
I'm shaped like a J-with a hook on the end,

Most saxes are J shaped with a hook with the exception of the Soprano Sax. Many Jazz enthusiasts get their "kicks" or enjoyment from saxophone players.

I grow up toward the sky, and rather quickly too.

You say watching me do so, is boring to do.

I create a shelter, a cover, for creatures like bugs.

If you step on my base wet, you will hear a thick 'glug'.

I have given you clues, four, to be true.

So now, what am I? Can your brain tell you?

I am so small, and sometimes I'm missed.
I get misplaced, misused, and help you when you list.
People usually pause when they see me,
So can you tell me what I could be?

I met a girl, she knows that I am the owner of an interesting puzzle website.
So when I asked her name she told me her name is the date '07/09/2001'.

I thought for few seconds and then I got her name.

Do you?

You have been poisoned by an evil scientist. He told you that the only antidote is the saliva of a gecko. He contains saliva of six different animals. A gecko, a lizard, a koala, a tapir, a giraffe, and a cow. He hasn’t labeled he test tubes containing the saliva f the animals. On the left is a table which four of the test tubes are one. On the right is a table which two of the test tubes are on. The lizards saliva is poisonous. The lizard and gecko test tubes are on the same table. The test tubes on the left are labelled 1, 2, 3, and 4. The gecko spit will not override the lizard poison. The lizard and gecko saliva are not right beside each other. You don't know where the cow test tube is. You know that the cow saliva is in 2 or 3 however. You know that the lizard test tube is not to the right of the cow. You only have time to drink two test tubes, which side do you run toward and which test tubes do you drink?
