Now

(Amount of x for 4 years) + (Amount of x for 3 years) + (Amount of x for 2 years) + (Amount of x for 1 year) + x = 600

[x+ (x*4*8)/100] + [x+ (x*3*8)/100] + [x+ (x*2*8)/100] + [x+ (x*1*8)/100] + x = 600

5x + [(32x + 24x + 16x + 8x)/100] = 600

or

5x + 80x/100 = 600 i.e. 5.8x = 600

Means
