Car A travels 35 Miles will take 60*35/48 = 43 Min 45 sec
Car B will travel 43.75*40/60 = 29.17 Mile in this time.

Now Car B is short of 35-29.17=5.83Miles which it will cover 5.83*60/40 i.e. 8 Min 45 sec
