A painter needed 3 days to paint a room.
How long would it take him, working at the same rate, to paint a room twice as long and twice as wide?

because, the walls would be four times as big as the first room.

I think the information is not enough! because we don't have the height. In the big room we have twice the walls and 4 times the ceiling, therefor painting takes more than 6 days but we can't know how many ?!
