Minute hand on 3 and hour hand passes 3 as man degrees as 30/(60/15) degrees= 7.5 degrees

7.5 degrees.

The minute hand is pointing directly at the '3'. The hour hand is 1/4 of the way between the '3' and '4'. Since there are 12 numbers the angle between each number is 30 degrees. So the angle between the hands are 30 degrees * 1/4 = 7.5 degrees.

I noticed that in my big wall clock, there is a time when the minute and hour clock are exactly between one and two. Also I notice both hands lie on top of each other.

What is the time I am talking about ?

At a given time, the hour and minute hands of a clock form an angle of 18 degree exactly . What is the minimum amount of time it takes that this will be the case again?
