Ali poured out 1/2 of the water in a jar. In the second pouring, he poured out 1/3 of the remaining water. In the third pouring, he poured out 1/4 of the remaining water. In the fourth pouring, he poured out 1/5 of the remaining water and so on. After how many times of pouring will the remaining water be exactly 1/10 of original amount of water?

A*1/2*2/3*3/4*.....*9/10=A/10
After the 9th pouring the remaining water will be exactly 1/10 of original amount of water.

After 9 pourings the jar contains only 1/10 of the original content.
.
After each pouring the jar contains 1/( # pourings + 1) of the original content.
So after the 1st pouring the jar contains 1/2 of the original content.
After the 2nd pouring the jar contains 1/3 of the original content.
...
After the 9th pouring the jar contains 1/10 of the original content.

There are two numbers. One larger and the other is smaller. If we subtract half of the smaller number from both numbers then the resultant larger number is 3 times larger as large as the resultant with the orignianl smaller and its half.
