# Calculate the total distance traveled by the bee?

Two trains are on same track and they are coming toward each other. The speed of first train is 50 KMs/h and the speed of second train is 70 KMs/h. A bee starts flying between the trains when the distance between two trains is 100 KMs. The bee first flies from first train to second train. Once it reaches the second train, it immediately flies back to the second train … and so on until trains collide. The speed of bee is 40 KMs/h. Calculate the total distance traveled by the bee?

The Bee cant make it as:
1. Both Trains have higher speed than the bee
2. Trains collide after 100KMs/(50 KMs/h+70KMs/h)=50 mins, the bee travels only 40*50/60=33.3 KMs by that time

Accidentally, two trains are running in the opposite direction and enter a tunnel that is 200 kms long. A supersonic bird that has fled the lab and taken shelter in the tunnel starts flying from one train towards the other at a speed of 1000 kmph. As soon as it reaches the second train, he starts flying back to avoid collision and meets the first train again at the other end. The bird keeps flying to and fro till the trains collide with each other.

What is the total distance that the supersonic bird has traveled till the trains collided?

Naresh could either walk or drive to office. The time taken to walk to the office is 14 times the driving time. One day, his wife took the car making him walk to office. After walking 1 km, he reached a temple when his wife called to say that he can now take the car. Veerbhadhran figured that continuing to walk to the office will take half as long as walking back home and then driving to the office. Calculate the distance between the temple and the office in KMs?

The next day she covers a quarter of what is left.

The following day she covers two fifths of the remainder and on the fourth day half of the remaining distance.

She now has 25 miles left.

How many miles has she travelled?
