Rohan is on his way to visit his girlfriend, who lives at the end of the state. It's her birthday, and he want to give her the cakes that he has made.Between his place and her girlfriend's house, he need to cross 7 toll bridges.
Before you can cross the toll bridge, you need to give them half of the cakes you are carrying, but as they are kind trolls, they each give you back a single cake.

How many cakes do Rohan have to carry with him so he can reach his girlfriend's home with exactly 2 cakes?

he should carry only 2 cakes with him. So he will reach his girlfriend home with exactly 2 cakes.

he had only 2 cakes with him.
at each toll he gives half of cake i.e) 1 cake
they in turn give 1 cake.
so at each toll, the transaction is 0
so ans is 2

An errand boy was collecting boxes of cakes for the summer fair. He collected boxes from various people in his local village and each box was labelled in Roman Numerals with the number of cakes in the box. By the time the errand boy has collected the last box. he was quite hungry, and really needed to eat at least one cake. Luckily the last box was marked with an underlined XI, meaning there was 11 cakes in it. He had the brain wave of turning the box around and underlining the number again to give the impression there were IX, that is 9 cakes. However, after eating the cakes 2 cakes, he was still hungry.
How can he change the number shown on the box again and eat more cakes?

There are two hourglasses. The small one can measure 5 minutes and the large one can measure 7 minutes.
How can we measure 16 minutes with 2 hourglasses running together?
(If one of the hourglasses finishes leaking, then it must be flipped over immediately to keep it running. )
