Curling (men's)
The first cup was awarded in 1959 to the winner of the World Championships, a 5-game series between Scotland and Canada. In 1968 the Scotch Cup (initially organised on behalf of the Scotch Whisky Association in North America) was renamed the Air Canada Silver Broom, and has changed names and sponsors regularly from then on.
