Guinness
The publication was named "The Guinness Book of Records"; the research on which the book was based was carried out for Guinness Superlatives, incorporated for the purpose in 1954. At the time Beaver was the managing director of the Guinness Breweries. As of the 2021 edition, the book (now known as "Guinness World Records") is now published in 100 countries and 23 languages, and maintains over 53,000 records in its database.
