Myelin
Myelin is a fatty protein-rich substance that surrounds nerve cell axons to insulate them and increase the rate at which electrical impulses are passed along. Epimysium is a sheath surrounding muscle fibre. Zuckerkandl's fascia is part of the sheath surrounding the kidneys. The pericardium surrounds the heart.
